Emily grew up in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and currently lives in Cleveland Heights with her husband, Jeff, their son, Rhett, and their two dogs, Daisy and Dash. Emily’s interests include cheering on the Michigan Wolverines and the Cleveland Indians, going for walks around the Cleveland Heights area, and trying out new restaurants.
Emily earned her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in May 2015. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Michigan.

Awards and Recognition
During law school, Emily was a Quarterfinalist in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition, earning both brief writing and oral advocacy honors. She was also an Admissions Fellow, participated in Outreach for Legal Literacy, and competed in the National Appellate Advocacy Competition. She was awarded membership in the Order of Barristers upon graduation.
